Easter is one of my favorite times of year to set a really beautiful table. There’s something about all those pastels, the fresh flowers, the little bunny touches here and there – it just feels cheerful and celebratory in a way that’s really easy to pull off. Whether you’re hosting a big family dinner or a smaller brunch with friends, the right Easter table decor can make the whole thing feel extra special.

I’ve been pulling together Easter table decoration ideas for years, and what I love about this holiday is that there’s so much flexibility. You can go super elegant with pearls and metallics, or keep it cozy and rustic with burlap and wildflowers. You can spend a lot or almost nothing. It really just depends on the vibe you want. So I put together 18 Easter table decor ideas that cover every style and budget – something here is going to work for your table.

I also grouped them into categories so it’s easier to mix and match. A lot of the best Easter tablescapes happen when you combine a few of these together – like a gingham runner with moss bunnies and pastel candles. Once you see the categories laid out, it gets a lot easier to build a cohesive look you’ll love.

Linens and Fabric Touches

Your tablecloth and runner set the tone for everything else. Getting this right first makes all the other Easter table decor fall into place naturally, and luckily there are some really beautiful options that don’t cost much at all.

1. Gingham in Pastel Tones

I love gingham for Easter – it’s classic without being too on-the-nose.

Soft blue, lavender, sage green, and pale yellow all look really pretty, and you can mix the gingham pattern across your tablecloth, runner, napkins, and placemats without it feeling too matchy.

The key is sticking to those muted pastel tones rather than bright primary colors. It keeps the Easter aesthetic feeling soft and sophisticated instead of nursery-like.

2. Burlap Table Runner with Vintage Easter Accents

If you’re going for a more rustic Easter table setting, a burlap runner is such a good base to work with.

I like pairing it with terracotta pots holding small plants or herbs, wire egg baskets in different sizes, and a few other vintage-style Easter decorating ideas scattered along the center.

It’s a really warm, textured look that feels collected rather than over-decorated. Also works really well with neutral dinnerware.

3. Easter Fabric Stamps

This one is so fun and a lot more customizable than people realize. You can get Easter-themed fabric stamps to print onto plain cloth napkins or a simple cotton tablecloth – bunnies, eggs, little chicks, whatever you like.

If you want to make your own, a cut sponge or potato stamp works fine for simple shapes. It’s a great activity to do with kids beforehand too, and the result is Easter table decor that’s truly one-of-a-kind.

Centerpieces That Actually Make an Impact

The centerpiece is usually the first thing guests notice when they sit down. These three Easter table centerpiece ideas cover a range of styles – from dramatic and statement-making to simple and sweet.

4. Branch Vase with Hanging Egg Ornaments

This is one of those Easter centerpiece ideas that looks really impressive but isn’t complicated to put together.

Start with a big vase – something with weight so it doesn’t tip – and fill it with a mix of fresh flowers and bare or budding branches. Then hang Easter egg ornaments from the branches at different heights.

It gives you this beautiful layered look, and the eggs swaying on the branches are such a charming detail. I’ve seen this done with metallic eggs, pastel ones, even pearl-finished ones, and it always looks gorgeous.

5. Mason Jars or Milk Jars with Carrots and Wildflowers

This is such a simple Easter table centerpiece idea that somehow looks really intentional and pretty.

Just fill small mason jars or vintage-style milk bottles with water, pop in a single small carrot and a few wildflowers in each one, and line them down the center of the table. It’s fresh, it’s cute, and it fits perfectly with a garden party Easter aesthetic.

The mix of the orange carrot and whatever flowers you choose creates this natural color palette that works really well.

6. Glass Vase Arrangement with Carrots and Flowers

Similar vibe to the mason jar idea, but a bit more polished. A large glass vase filled with whole carrots standing upright – greens still attached – and flowers mixed in among them looks really beautiful and unexpected.

It’s one of those Easter table decor ideas that reads as both whimsical and sophisticated depending on the flowers you choose. Tulips or ranunculus look especially good with this.

It also makes a great conversation starter because people are surprised by how pretty vegetables can look.

Florals and Fresh Produce

I love working fresh produce into Easter table decor – there’s something really alive and celebratory about it. These two ideas use flowers and food together in ways that feel really natural and spring-appropriate.

7. Garlands with Flowers and Fresh Vegetables

A garland running down the center of the table made from a mix of flowers and fresh vegetables is one of my favorite Easter tablescape ideas.

You can tuck small carrots, radishes, and herbs in among greenery and blooms, arrange the whole thing in a long woven basket, or just scatter it loosely along the table.

It’s layered and abundant-looking, which feels very Easter to me. The produce adds color and texture in a way that feels seasonal and grounded rather than overly decorative.

8. Tulip Stems Wrapped Around Napkins

This is such an easy Easter table setting detail that makes a big difference. Just wrap a single tulip stem around each folded napkin and tie it with a piece of twine or thin ribbon.

Tulips are affordable, they come in so many colors, and they last well as a cut flower through a long meal.

It adds a fresh floral touch to every place setting without needing a big elaborate arrangement. I love how simple and cheerful this looks when everything is set out on the table.

Candles for Atmosphere

9. Pastel Tall Candles in Various Heights

Candles make every table feel more special, and for Easter I really love using tall taper candles in pastel shades – soft pink, pale lavender, mint, baby blue.

The key is mixing different heights so they create some visual movement. You don’t need fancy candle holders either; simple brass or terracotta holders look really elegant with pastel tapers.

If your dinner runs into the evening, the soft candlelight alongside all the Easter table decor makes everything feel really warm and celebratory.

Bunny Decorations

Bunnies are kind of the mascot of Easter, and there are a lot of ways to incorporate them into your Easter table decor that feel elegant rather than cheesy. These three ideas range from rustic to modern to kid-friendly.

10. Woven Bunnies with Matching Woven Placemats

I love this combination – woven bunny figurines scattered along the table alongside round woven placemats for each place setting. It creates this cohesive natural texture throughout the whole Easter tablescape.

The woven bunnies come in all sizes, and mixing a few different heights looks really nice. It works especially well with a neutral linen tablecloth and simple white dinnerware.

It’s an Easter table setting that feels warm, organic, and put-together without trying too hard.

11. Moss Bunnies and a Moss Table Runner

Moss bunnies are such a beautiful Easter decor option if you want something that feels more like garden-party than traditional Easter.

You can buy them or make them fairly easily with a wire frame, sheet moss, and some floral pins. Pair them with a strip of moss running down the center of the table as a loose ‘runner,’ and the whole effect is really lush and unexpected.

It’s one of those Easter table decor ideas that photographs beautifully and gets a lot of compliments.

12. Paper Bunnies for the Kids’ Table

For a kids’ table, paper bunnies propped on top of each plate are a really sweet touch.

You can find printable templates online, cut them out, and fold them so they stand up on their own – it takes maybe twenty minutes and kids love them.

They’re also a great little activity if you set them out pre-folded and let the kids decorate their own. It makes the kids’ Easter table setting feel just as special as the main table.

Egg Styling

Eggs are everywhere at Easter, and I think the trick is using them in ways that feel intentional rather than just scattered around. These three ideas all do something really specific with eggs that elevates the whole Easter table decor look.

13. Decorated Eggs with Pearls, Rhinestones, or Metallic Paint

This is one of my favorite Easter table decor ideas for anyone who wants something that feels a little more modern and glamorous.

You can glue small pearls or rhinestones onto blown or hard-boiled eggs for a really beautiful jeweled effect, or simply paint them in metallic gold or silver. Arrange them in a low dish, a shallow tray, or just scattered casually along the table.

The metallic ones especially catch the light in a really pretty way, and they mix well with both rustic and elegant Easter tablescapes.

14. Eggs as Place Cards

I love this idea because it’s functional and decorative at the same time.

Write each guest’s name on an egg with a permanent marker – you can keep it simple or get fancy with calligraphy – and place it on top of the plate or in a small egg holder at each seat.

For a little extra personality, add some potting soil and a sprig of greenery to the holder for a rustic Easter vibe. It’s a detail guests always notice and appreciate, and it doubles as a little take-home favor.

15. Napkin Bunny Ears

This is such a fun, easy Easter table setting detail. Wrap a cloth napkin around an egg so that the two loose ends of the napkin stick up like bunny ears, then tie it in place with twine, ribbon, or a napkin ring.

You end up with this sweet little bunny bundle at each place setting that’s really charming without being too cutesy. It works for all ages – adults think it’s clever, kids absolutely love it. Takes about two minutes per setting once you get the hang of the fold.

Tableware and Place Settings

Your dishes and what you put on them are part of the Easter table decor too. These two ideas work with the things sitting right on the plate to add another layer of personality to your Easter table setting.

16. Bunny or Gingham Dinnerware

If you’ve been thinking about picking up some Easter-themed dinnerware, it’s actually a really worthwhile investment because it elevates the whole Easter tablescape so effortlessly.

Plates with a simple bunny motif or a gingham pattern read as charming rather than kitschy when paired with simple linens and natural elements.

You don’t need a full set – even just salad plates or chargers in an Easter print can add a lot. Mix them with plain white pieces for a look that feels curated rather than themed.

17. Small Bowl or Egg Holder with Chocolate Treats

This is one of those Easter table setting details that guests genuinely love.

Place a small bowl or egg holder at each seat filled with a small chocolate bunny and a few candy-coated or chocolate eggs – almonds, peanuts, whatever you like.

It’s a little gift for each guest built right into the place setting, and it makes the table feel extra thoughtful and festive. Kids obviously go wild for it, but honestly adults do too. It’s a small touch that makes a big impression.

A Special Setup for the Kids

18. A Coloring Table for Little Ones

If you’re hosting Easter with kids, setting up a dedicated coloring table is one of the best Easter decorating ideas I can suggest.

Lay down a roll of kraft paper or parchment as the ‘tablecloth’ and set out crayons and markers so kids can draw and decorate the table itself all through the meal.

You can also print some Easter-themed coloring pages – bunnies, eggs, chicks – and have those available too. It keeps little ones entertained, and the table ends up covered in the most charming kid-made Easter art. It’s also one of those ideas that practically sets itself up.

Putting It All Together

The thing I always tell people when it comes to Easter table decor is that you really don’t need to do everything. Pick a color palette first – all pastels, or maybe a more neutral base with pops of one color – and then choose three to five of these ideas that feel manageable and right for your style. A great Easter tablescape usually has a mix of textures, heights, and a few personal touches. That’s really all it takes.

Some of my favorite combinations from this list: gingham linens with moss bunnies and pastel candles for a garden party vibe; the burlap runner with the branch centerpiece and egg place cards for a more rustic Easter aesthetic; or simple white dinnerware with the glass vase carrot arrangement and napkin bunny ears for something clean and modern. Mix and match, trust your eye, and don’t overthink it.

Whether you’re going all out with Easter table centerpieces and matching dinnerware, or just adding a few sweet details like tulip napkins and chocolate treat bowls, I hope these Easter table decoration ideas give you exactly what you need to make your table feel special this spring. Happy decorating!
