A Laced in Love bridal shower theme never gets old for me. Soft lace, sweet doilies, and pretty little touches everywhere you look make it feel romantic without trying too hard, and it works for almost any bride.

I organized this list by area, so you can jump right to what you’re working on, whether that’s the entrance, the tables, or the favors guests take home.

Entrance & Welcome Details

First impressions really matter for a Laced in Love bridal shower theme, so let’s start right at the door.

1. Lace Welcome Sign

I love starting with a lace welcome sign right at the front door. An oval sign with a scalloped lace pattern printed around the border frames the text and sets the tone before guests even step inside.

It’s an easy way to work the lace look into your sign without using any real lace trim. You can have the bride’s name printed right on it, and it becomes something sweet to keep after the party.

2. Lace Welcome Banner

Another option is a fabric welcome banner with printed text, bordered by wide, scalloped lace trim. I like this one because the linen-look fabric feels a little more substantial than a paper sign.

This works really well hung over a doorway or above the gift table. It’s also sturdy enough to save and bring out again for a bridal lunch or another shower down the road.

Backdrops, Garlands & Hanging Decorations

Once guests walk in, the backdrops and hanging details are what really fill out the room for a Laced in Love bridal shower theme.

3. Lace Ribbon Backdrop

This is one of my favorite ways to dress up a blank wall. Vertical strips of floral lace trim in different widths hang side by side, with scalloped edges that catch the light.

It’s simple to put together and it looks great in photos. I usually suggest this behind the dessert table or as a photo spot, since it gives guests a pretty place to snap pictures all afternoon.

4. Lace Curtain Backdrop

If you’re hosting outside, a wide floral lace curtain panel makes a beautiful backdrop. The scalloped hem moves a little in the breeze, which adds a soft touch to outdoor photos.

I’ve found this works great for garden showers or anything with a romantic feel. You can hang it from a wooden arch, a tree branch, or a simple frame you build yourself.

5. Lace Ceiling Drape

Looking up matters too. Layering several round crochet lace pieces across a ceiling beam gives you a soft, overhead canopy that guests notice the second they walk in.

This is a great choice if you want a big visual without spending a lot on fresh flowers. Vintage crochet lace pieces from a thrift store work just as well as new ones, so it’s an easy item to track down ahead of time.

6. Lace Pennant Banner

A pennant banner is a classic party detail, and the lace version fits right into a Laced in Love bridal shower theme. Small triangular flags in a floral lace pattern are strung together on a ribbon garland.

I love hanging these across a dessert table or along a staircase rail. They’re light enough that you can hang them almost anywhere without extra support.

7. Doily Heart Garland

This garland is made from heart-shaped paper doilies with a lace-cutout pattern, strung together in vertical strands that hang down. It’s light and airy, so it moves a little whenever there’s a breeze.

I love hanging a few strands together so it looks fuller. It’s a budget-friendly way to add height and softness to a room without much extra work.

8. Lace Balloon Tails

Even balloons can join in on the theme. Swapping the usual curling ribbon for narrow strips of floral lace trim gives each balloon a softer, more finished look.

I usually mix a few lace tails in with plain ribbon instead of using lace on every single balloon. That way it feels planned instead of overdone.

Table & Place Setting Details

The table is where guests spend most of their time, so this is where a Laced in Love bridal shower theme really gets to shine.

9. Lace Table Runner

I usually start setting the table with the runner, and a sheer lace runner with a soft, frayed edge is perfect for this theme. It runs down the length of the table and gives you a soft base to build the rest of the setting on.

Tuck a few small lace fans among the place settings for extra texture. It’s a small touch, but it ties the whole table together.

10. Paper Lace Doilies

These are one of the cheapest details on this whole list. A round paper doily with a scalloped, lace-pattern cutout edge sits under each plate for that classic lace look without any extra cost.

They come in big packs for just a few dollars, which makes them an easy way to touch every place setting on a smaller budget. I always keep a stack on hand for this exact reason.

11. Doily Menu

For the menu, I love printing the text right inside a round, doily-shaped cutout design. It reads like a piece of lace at first glance, but it’s really just a printed, die-cut paper menu.

This is such a simple way to carry the theme onto something guests actually pick up and read. I usually set one at every place setting so nobody has to guess what’s coming out next.

12. Heart Lace Placemats

For a sweeter table setting, heart-shaped lace placemats with a floral pattern and scalloped edges add a lot of charm. I like stacking a couple together under each plate for extra texture.

This is a nice upgrade from a plain charger if you want something that feels a little more special. It’s also an easy detail to set up ahead of time, before guests arrive.

13. Lace Place Cards

If you’re doing assigned seats, lace place cards are worth the extra step. A rectangular card bordered with scalloped lace trim feels a lot more special than plain paper.

You can write the names by hand or have them printed, whichever fits your schedule. Either way, it’s a small detail that guests notice as soon as they find their seat.

14. Lace-Tied Cutlery

Instead of laying out silverware flat, I like tying crochet lace ribbon around individual pieces of cutlery and setting them out bundled on a tray. It looks pretty and keeps the utensils organized in one spot.

This also makes setup faster on the day of the shower. You can tie the lace around each piece ahead of time and just set the tray out right before guests arrive.

15. Doily Coasters

For glasses, small round doilies with a scalloped lace pattern work great as coasters. A thin ribbon tied at the stem adds a little extra color if you want to bring in the wedding colors.

It’s such a simple swap, but it protects your tables and keeps the lace look going all the way down to the glasses. I see this work really well at showers with rented tables especially.

Seating, Centerpiece & Candlelight Details

A few of my favorite details live right where the bride sits and around the candles, so let’s talk about those next.

16. Lace Bride Chair Cover

Every bride deserves a chair that stands out, and this cover does just that. It’s a sheer cover with “Bride” written in script across the back, finished with a scalloped lace border and lace ties hanging down each side.

I love this one because it also works as a photo spot. Guests always end up taking a picture of the bride in her chair at some point during the party.

17. Lace Lamp

For a centerpiece with a little extra glow, I like wrapping a scalloped floral lace sleeve around the top of a stemmed lamp base. It softens the light and keeps the lace theme going even after the sun goes down.

This is a pretty option for an evening shower or a space without a lot of natural light. It also gives you something a little different from the usual candle centerpiece.

18. Lace Candlestick Bows

Candles bring in warmth, and a sheer lace ribbon tied in a bow around each candlestick neck adds a soft finishing touch. The trailing ends move a little with the flame, which looks really pretty once it gets dark.

This works well down the center of the table between the other centerpiece pieces. It’s an easy detail to add at the very last minute if you’re short on time.

19. Lace Bow

Sometimes the simplest detail makes the biggest difference. A floral lace ribbon tied into a bow, with a few loose trim strips left hanging, ties right into a Laced in Love bridal shower theme without much extra work.

I like keeping a roll of lace ribbon on hand for this exact reason. You can attach it to chairs, candle holders, a photo backdrop, or anywhere else around the table in just a few minutes.

Favors & Wearable Details

Favors are one of my favorite parts of planning a Laced in Love bridal shower theme, since guests take these home as a reminder of the day.

20. Lace Gloves

These sheer gloves make such a fun favor. They have a small floral dot pattern with ruffled lace cuffs and a small bow at the wrist, so they feel dressed up without being too much.

Guests love having something a little different to wear for photos during the party. I’ve found this works especially well for a vintage or old-fashioned shower.

21. Lace Scrunchie

A lace scrunchie is such a useful, pretty favor. Floral lace ruffle trim wraps around a satin scrunchie base, so it’s something guests will actually use again and again after the shower.

This is one of my go-to picks when a couple wants a favor that won’t just sit in a drawer. It’s affordable too, which helps if you’re ordering enough for a big guest list.

22. Lace Coasters

For a favor guests can keep using, I love a ruffled eyelet lace border wrapped around an embroidered monogram on a small fabric square. It works as a coaster, but it also feels like a real keepsake.

This is a nice option when you want a favor with a little more personal touch. Guests can toss it in a drawer at home and pull it out whenever they need a coaster.

Photo Props & Keepsakes

Photo moments matter at every shower, and a Laced in Love bridal shower theme gives you a lot to work with here.

23. Lace Photo Frame

A small photo frame with eyelet lace trim bordering the mat makes a really sweet decor piece and a keepsake for the bride. You can set a few out with engagement photos inside for guests to look at as they walk around.

This is one I suggest when the couple wants something a little more special than a regular favor. It stays as something the bride can keep long after the shower is over.

24. Doily Photo Garland

This is a sweet way to show off photos of the couple during the party. Round paper doilies clip along a string, with a photo attached behind each one.

I love using this for engagement photos or old pictures the family sends over. It’s an easy project to put together yourself, and guests always end up stopping to look through it during the shower.

25. Lace Veil Garland

This one takes the photo garland idea a step further. Small triangular and scalloped pieces of lace and tulle netting sit over each photo like a tiny veil, with a few finished off in little bows.

It’s such a sweet detail for a bride who loves anything heartfelt. This works well strung along a fireplace shelf, a window, or across the gift table.

26. Lace Parasols

Small lace parasols, those pretty little folding umbrellas, are one of my favorite photo props for this theme. They’re made from floral lace fabric with scalloped edges, and they fold up easily for storing between uses.

These are great for outdoor showers, especially in the afternoon sun. Guests love picking one up for a quick photo, and the bride can use hers for extra shots later in the day.

27. Lace Fan

Along the same lines, a folding fan with a floral lace overlay and scalloped edge makes a sweet photo prop, especially for the bride. It matches everything else happening on the table and in the photos.

This is a smart choice for a summer shower too. The bride gets a little relief from the heat and a pretty prop to hold in her pictures at the same time.

Food, Drink & Flower Finishing Touches

Last but not least, don’t forget the small details around the food and flowers. These finishing touches are what guests remember on their way out the door.

28. Lace-Wrapped Bread

Even the food table can join the theme. Narrow lace trim wraps around a loaf of bread and a bagel, tied off in little bows, sitting right on a lace tablecloth as a centerpiece for the spread.

This is a fun detail if you’re doing a brunch-style shower with a bread or pastry table. It turns simple food into something that matches the rest of the room.

29. Lace-Backed Flowers

For the last detail on this list, I love backing a few blooms with a small round lace doily or trim piece. It works especially well behind white anthurium, the flower with the shiny, heart-shaped petal, since the lace peeks out around the edges.

It’s such an easy way to add texture to a bouquet or a single-stem centerpiece without buying extra greenery. It’s a small touch, but it’s one of those details that looks beautiful up close.
